Dear Parents,

At Culver PTA, we align with Illinois PTA and National PTA efforts to make school amazing for every child! Here is what we focus on and examples of what we have been up to.

Advocating for Kids: Partnering with parents, teachers and staff on fantastic programs that help students shine. Every year we ensured every kid gets a free book to read over the Winter Holidays, and organized a Scholastic Book Fair to drive the love for reading!
Bringing Families and Schools Together: Creating awesome connections between parents, teachers and staff to make learning a team effort. Every year we participated in the PTA Reflections National contest and our kids rank top in region and sometimes state.
Raising Awareness: Shining a spotlight on important issues and rallying everyone to make positive changes for our kids. In 2024 we taught kids about the importance of supporting your community by creating spiritwear gear that raised money for Susan G Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
Engaging the Community: Inspiring everyone to get involved in fun and impactful activities that benefit our students. We connect local businesses and the Culver community to make the school experience even better. Last year we held numerous diner days, fundraiser events and sponsorship opportunities for local businesses. See back page of our calendar of our local business supporters.

Join us as we work together to make education extraordinary and create amazing experiences for our kids! Your membership fee and participation/attendance in our events makes all this possible!
Whether it’s a donation, an hour of your time, ideas or feedback at our monthly meetings.
