Culver School is honored to be listed among the 100 best elementary schools in Illinois, in ratings published recently by Chicago Parent.
The ratings are compiled by Niche, an online school-ratings website. Factors that affect the ratings include student-teacher ratio, teacher quality, grade school ratings, student-body diversity, state test scores and an overall assessment of the school district. Niche’s researchers use various public data sources, plus parent reviews received by their site.
District 71 Supt. John Kosirog said, “This is wonderful news and the Niche rating highlights all of the hard work of the Culver teachers and staff over the past years.”
Culver received an “A” grade, ranked 61st overall among Illinois elementary schools, and 21st among Illinois middle schools. Its teachers were ranked 50th among 1,929 public elementary schools, and 35th among 1,196 public middle schools.
